My advice would just be to go for it! Take the risk and try your best, because even if you don't win there are so many opportunities and benefits to be gained by participating in this. You will gain access to network with top industry leaders, as well as attend various parts of the summit to find out the latest advancements happening in whatever area of AI you have a focus or interest in.

It was a fantastic opportunity as I was able to connect with the hackathon leaders there on the day. This gave me a lot of visibility and exposure, so it was an invaluable opportunity for me to showcase additional learning and development I am currently undertaking.
2024 Hackathon Judges

Attila Bagoly
Attila is an experienced machine learning engineer with a solid background in particle and statistical physics, and a keen interest in quantum mechanics. Having previously engaged in research, now he channels his expertise into developing AI solutions that integrate quantum mechanics to tackle pressing challenges in biotechnology.

Humayun Sheikh
Humayun Sheikh is passionate about AI, machine learning and strongly believes in a paradigm shift in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Humayun was an early investor in several tech companies including DeepMind where he supported commercialization of early-stage AI & deep neural network technology. Currently he is putting his experience as an innovator and problem-solver to Build, Deploy & Monetize through an open powerful Fetch.ai platform for the new generation of AI economy.

Maria Minaricova
Maria Minaricova builds strategic alliances and partnerships with industry as well as academia. She is focused on solutions for mobility - autonomous / electric vehicles, supply chains and circular economy. Maria is serving on the Board of Directors of the Fetch.ai Foundation and is leading the Fetch.ai activities in the Catena-X consortium and the Gaia-X projects. Maria is a member of the Expert Panel of the EU Blockchain Observatory and Women in AI organization and is passionate about supporting diversity and inclusion in AI & Web3 technologies and beyond.

Sana Wajid
Sana spearheads the product vision and strategy at Fetch.ai, driving innovation and guiding the development of decentralized AI solutions that empower businesses and individuals. Sana has over 15 years of experience in product management and development. Prior to joining Fetch.ai, she held key leadership roles in the rail industry, overseeing the launch of successful products that revolutionized asset management. Her expertise spans product strategy, agile design & development methodologies, customer relationships and operations.

Elliot Bertram
Elliot Bertram is a seasoned finance executive with 24 years of experience in top-tier Wall Street firms.
His global expertise spans investment banking, M&A execution, and investments across the Americas, Middle East, and Asia. Bertram's impressive career includes serving as CEO and Board Member of a Brazilian gold mining conglomerate, where he successfully restructured and recapitalised the company, leading to its sale to a global private equity fund. He co-founded Footprints to Recovery, a nationally recognised chain of substance abuse rehabilitation centres, and established a trade finance fund in Singapore. As a former executive in Morgan Stanley's Principal Transactions Group, Bertram executed $10 billion in warehouse and mezzanine financing and led significant M&A transactions, including a $1 billion dealer floorplan financing for Ford Motor Credit.
Currently, Elliot spearheads business development for Fetch.ai in the United States, leveraging his extensive financial acumen and leadership experience.
Hackathon Partners
Google Developer Student Clubs are university-based community groups for students interested in Google developer technologies, welcoming students from all undergraduate or graduate programs. Students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their communities.
