DataKind UK is a small charity with a vision for a strong, thriving third sector that embraces data science to become more impactful. Since 2013, we have engaged over £4.5 million in pro bono data science expertise, and increased the impact of over 280 third sector organisations by enabling data-led decision making, problem solving, and practices. By tapping into the experience of data science professionals who want to use their skills to give back, we scope and deliver a range of programmes and projects. These transform the way third sector organisations can use data, enabling improved decision-making, problem-solving, and operations and ultimately increasing positive outcomes for people facing a range of social, health, and economic challenges.
