William oversees the development and dissemination of technology for our clients and vendors, bringing over thirty years’ experience in technological communications. As CTO, William oversees the development and dissemination of technology for our clients and vendors, bringing over thirty years’ experience in technological communications. He manages a team of technical experts and provides technical support across the entire portfolio of Access’s activities. He also provides direct consulting, including expert witness services, to mobile operators undergoing mergers or legal disputes around the world. A previous CTO of Ofcom for over seven years, William was also the Director of Corporate Strategy of Motorola based in Chicago, USA and moved on to become one of the founding directors of Neul, holding the role of CTO where he was responsible for the overall technical design of an innovative new wireless technology, before being sold to Huawei in 2014. Latterly, becoming CEO at Weightless SIG, which harmonised the technology as a global standard.
