Ula Hijawi is an Advanced Research Engineer in the Digital Engineering department at the MTC with a background on artificial intelligence (AI) and electrical engineering. She is a technical lead in AI-focused MTC projects and collaborative activities. She also led the formation of MTC’s internal AI Governance policies and for AI adoption and roadmap strategy in manufacturing. She is also pursuing her PhD at the University of Warwick in the field of AI and defect detection in PV systems.
