I have had the opportunity to engage with a number of disciplines from bioinformatics and big data, to mechanical engineering and complex networks and robotics and AI. With 15 years in an academic environment, 6 years running my own business and 5 in the public sector I am capable of connecting the dots for the benefit of the UK economy.
