Sudarshan Deshmukh is an AI Architect with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, currently working at Laya Healthcare (AXA Ireland). His role involves designing and implementing AI-driven solutions for the healthcare insurance sector, focusing on AI compliance, risk assessment, and GDPR adherence.

With over 15 years of experience in AI development, research, and industry applications, Sudarshan has worked across multiple domains, including HR analytics, cybersecurity, and business intelligence. As Director of AI Platform at DeepAlytics, he led the development of an AI-powered HR analytics platform, delivering 20+ AI solutions that improved operational efficiency and decision-making processes. His work has contributed to patented AI technologies and practical AI-driven strategies in enterprise settings.

In addition to industry roles, Sudarshan has been actively involved in teaching and mentoring. As an Adjunct Faculty at BITS Pilani (2013–2023) and an Industry Mentor with Great Learning, he has taught AI, NLP, Computer Vision, and Data Science to over 5,000 professionals. His academic experience includes leading postgraduate programs in AI and data science, as well as research contributions in cybersecurity at NTU Singapore, where he worked on AI-driven threat detection techniques.

Sudarshan holds a Master’s in Computer Engineering. He has multiple US patents, 40+ certifications in AI and ML, and has been nominated for the IEEE TCPP Outstanding Service Award.

His work focuses on AI Strategy, design and develop scalable AI applications, derive value through effective operationalisation, aligning AI solutions with business needs and create organisation level impact.
