Sam Genway
Chief Quantum Scientist,
Capgemini Quantum Lab
Sam is part of Capgemini's Quantum Lab where he leads a team focussed on chemistry and materials applications of quantum computing, a central focus of Capgemini's work in quantum. Following a career in academic research as a theoretical physicist, specialising in the simulation of quantum systems, he has spent many years leading transformative programmes within R&D organisations through emerging technologies. Before joining Capgemini's Quantum Lab, he launched an internal accelerator program focusing on tip-of-the-spear applications across different emerging technologies. Over many years, Sam has worked with several of the largest commercial R&D organisations on challenges in ranging from early drug discovery to product manufacturing.
