Patrick Murray is currently serving as the role of Senior Manager, IEEE Conformity Assessment Program (ICAP). A long time conformity assessment and standards expert in program creation to implementation. Specializing on conformity assessment programs such as the IEEE CertifAIEd AI Ethics Certification Program, IEEE Nuclear Power Electrical Equipment Certification Program (IEEE 60780-323, IEEE 344, and other related IEEE nuclear standards) and the Interconnection of Distributed Energy Resources Certification Program (IEEE 1547). Other standards worked on include the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Certification Program (IEEE P1952).
Previous roles include numerous disciplines of engineering including Architectural and Mechanical. He has previously worked for and currently acts as a committee member for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) where he oversaw the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Certification Program and Hill West Architects serving as an Architectural Designer. Patrick studied Architectural Engineering with a focus on Sustainable Design from the University of Hartford.
