Michael Dascal
Michael Dascal is Director of Quantum Product Management at the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT), where he leads the quantum research team strategy and vision.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Michael completed a PhD in Foundations of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information at the University of Maryland, as well as a Masters in Philosophy with a specialization in the Philosophy of Quantum Information at the University of Oxford. In addition to his academic experience, Michael also ran a successful marketing consultancy for ten years, creating brand guidelines, advertising campaigns, and other marketing content for Fortune 100 companies around the world.
Outside of FCAT, Michael is co-founder of a newly launched initiative, Diversity in Quantum (DiviQ), which aims to diversify the quantum workforce by providing aspiring quantum professionals from underrepresented groups with the role-models, mentors, career advice, and community support they need to succeed.
