Class Futures
Jonathan Lloyd is the founder of Class Futures, a community exploring AI and education through podcasts, events and thought leadership. As the host of the Class Futures podcast, he has interviewed leading voices in the field, including renowned edtech critic Audrey Watters, to explore her insights on learning and EdTech. An educator and geographer by background, Jonathan brings a balanced perspective to AI - looking not only at how it's used in classrooms, but also at the geography of AI itself: how place, access, and policy impact its development and use globally. He was part of the Assurance in AI Education event at Loughborough University where he contributed to designing an assurance framework for the use of AI in education. Furthermore, he has hosted high-profile AI in education events focusing on AI’s impact on learning, workload and literacy. Alongside his work he also serves as a trustee for Chapter One, an educational charity, providing stewardship on the strategic use of digital technology and AI in literacy.
