James Leadbetter
James has an MEng in Manufacturing Engineering, and spent 7 years before BAE travelling the world as a cradle-to-grave Technical Project Manager working in everything from nuclear, hydroelectric, gas and coal power generation, to offshore, subsea and potable water. He has also developed several novel hardware systems, run large scale engineering training programs and has a particular interest in net zero with several initiatives under his belt. Since joining BAE in 2014, he has worked on the Eurofighter Typhoon Radar development program, and in late 2016 joined Manufacturing Technology (now a division of Falconworks), where he is Collaborative Programs Lead, as well as team lead for the IIoT OT architecture deployment program in BAE’s Factory of the Future where he is focussing on developing new approaches to manufacturing Cyber Security, Data Connectivity and Analytics. He is a Chartered Engineer with the IET, a Licenced Technologist with ongoing Patent development work in the areas of Augmented Reality & AI driven safety systems and is active in Graduate and Apprentice development.
