Hebe works as Head of AI Strategy & Innovation for R&D at Astrazeneca. She is responsible for both external investment in the space and leads a large, global department to deliver AI across the pharmaceutical value chain. Hebe has multiple years' experience in developing long term strategies, maturing complex products and platforms, and leading large organisations. Prior to working at AZ, Hebe lead the Knowledge Graph department at BenevolentAI, and has experience in other medtech companies including Huma. Hebe has a Master's degree from Imperial College London and an undergraduate degree from Oxford University focusing on public health, neuroscience research, and epidemiology. Hebe regularly speaks internationally on AI-enabled drug discovery and Digital Health.
