Dr Erin Ling is a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Future of Work at the Surrey Institute for People-Centred AI, University of Surrey. Erin conducts research on the intersections of AI, people and society. Her current research includes AI applications and implications in services, human-AI team collaboration, human-robot/chatbot interaction, adoption and impact of AI-powered systems in various sectors (i.e., human resource management, e-commerce, tourism and hospitality), and consumer behaviour. Before embarking on an academic path, Erin was an entrepreneur in business and travel services.
