Donatien Chedom Fotso is a data science and AI leader with over 15 years of experience spanning academia and industry. He has a decade of expertise in developing and deploying impactful end-to-end AI and ML solutions across vatious industries. He specialises in building and leading high-performing AI/data teams, driving the implementation and adoption of state-of-the-art AI/ML technologies.
Currently, He leads an applied AI&ML team at Deutsche Bank, part of the Data Science CoE, overseeing the development and implementation of AI solutions across various business lines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
Donatien holds a degree in Computer Science and a PhD in Applied Probability and Statistics. He began his career in academia, including work at the University of Oxford, where he utilized AI and machine learning to tackle challenges in cancer research and viral genomics, focusing on disease evolution, targeted therapy, and early diagnostics.
He is passionate about integrating cutting-edge research with practical industry applications, consistently applying the latest AI and ML advancements to solve real-world problems.
