Cengiz Ucbenli is currently the Group Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Centrica, the largest energy company in the UK. With over 15 years of experience in the Finance, Telecom, and now Energy sectors for multinational companies, Cengiz has built and led high-performing, geographically distributed global analytics teams to deliver cutting-edge data and AI products in support of digital transformation. His passion lies in creating practical and commercially profitable solutions for complex business problems through the use of data and analytics. He has studied, worked, and lived in New York, Istanbul, and London. Holding Ph.D., MBA, and BSc degrees, he is married with a son. His hobbies are traveling, taking pictures, and reading history and science books.
