Barry leads Deloitte’s AI Assurance team in the UK and has over 20 years’ experience. He has led several large projects specifically focused on enhancing AI risk management frameworks to align with industry good practice and regulatory expectations. Barry is a subject matter expert in AI regulations globally and has played a leading role in developing Deloitte’s approach to assessing AI systems and controls. More recently, Barry has been focused on supporting the technology sector prepare for the EU AI Act and Digital Services Act, along with helping firms navigate the UK’s proposed approach to AI regulation.
