Aibek is an entrepreneur-minded professional, with broad knowledge acquired in industry, consulting and academia. Aibek currently serves as a Director of Sales Engineering at BytePlus, a B2B arm of ByteDance. Aibek's specialization includes, but is not limited to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, recommendation systems, and cloud solutions.

Prior to joining BytePlus, Aibek was a consultant at PwC, where he managed projects spanning from multi-billion dollar carve-outs and technical due-diligences to complex digital transformations and automation of back-offices, from building and launching digital SaaS products to defining and implementing data pipelines for clients across different industries and geographies.

Aibek holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Lugano.
