Las Vegas, Nevada – May 6, 2024 – Industry leader The AI Summit Series announces its groundbreaking partnership with Black Hat, the cybersecurity industry's most established and in-depth security event series for the inaugural The AI Summit at Black Hat USA 2024. Supported by World Wide Technology, a global technology solutions provider, this live, in-person event takes place for one day only on August 6 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

As part of The AI Summit Series, a global conference and expo focusing on practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, this Summit underscores the importance of AI as an organization's newest and greatest weapon within the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.

“The AI Summit is a natural addition to the Black Hat USA 2024 program. As business leaders and technology experts are faced with mounting cybersecurity threats, it is a critical time to convene and explore AI themes, learn about cutting-edge technologies, and engage in hands-on practical sessions that can protect enterprises using AI,” said Rory Crone, Director, Marketing, Applied Intelligence Group, Informa Tech. “This one-day, immersive Summit experience has been designed to help leaders understand how to best implement AI within their respective organizational frameworks.”

The AI Summit at Black Hat USA 2024, sponsored by Splunk, Balbix, Trend Micro and ExtraHop, features a packed agenda of featured speaker on topics showcasing cutting-edge AI solutions to better equip Black Hat attendees with innovative strategies to implement these AI products and tools, secure their enterprises, and prepare for future cyber attacks. The AI Summit Series smartly integrates into the Black Hat USA 2024 program in celebration of its 27th anniversary as a marker of what’s new and next in cybersecurity. As 2023 saw artificial intelligence explode into the mainstream and land firmly on the boardroom agenda, today, it’s clear that no AI implementation can truly be successful without understanding, and preparing for, the myriad cybersecurity implications.

In 2016, at a time when AI conferences were geared towards research & academia, Informa launched The AI Summit Series - the first-ever conference and exhibition to explore what AI practically means for enterprises. Every year since then, we’ve gathered top executives and investors with technology specialists and data scientists from across the globe to network, learn and showcase ground-breaking technology solutions for business.

With the ninth edition flooring in 2024, our conference & expo series has firmly established itself at the heart of the AI community with shows running in London, New York, Singapore, Cape Town, at Black Hat USA, Black Hat Europe and SecTor Canada.

Black Hat is the cybersecurity industry’s most established and in-depth security event series. Founded in 1997, these annual, multi-day events provide attendees with the latest in cybersecurity research, development, and trends. Driven by the needs of the community, Black Hat events showcase content directly from the community through Briefings presentations, Trainings courses, Summits, and more. As the event series where all career levels and academic disciplines convene to collaborate, network, and discuss the cybersecurity topics that matter most to them, attendees can find Black Hat events in the United States, Canada, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Asia.
