Simone leads HSBC's D&I Data Science service and is passionate about helping HR on its journey to become a data-driven function. In her role, Simone guides senior leaders on their inclusion journey by harnessing ML, NLP and statistics to uncover insight and explain the 'so-what' of their data. In doing so she helps to drive strategic, meaningful, and tangible change. Leading the D&I data science service also involves acting as a risk steward. In this capacity Simone assists the bank in assessing its existing processes, as well as external solutions for bias. With the growth of HR tech and AI solutions, this includes a significant focus on algorithmic bias identification and mitigation. Prior to joining HSBC, Simone worked in a variety of roles that focused on the digital transformation of HR at JP Morgan. She holds a bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
