Omar is a Lead Data Scientist in the Applied AI/ML team at JP Morgan. He is a specialist in Bayesian inference and time series forecasting. As part of his previous role, Omar has also deployed multiple data science models across many sectors: marketing optimisation for a US retailer, sales forecasting for Rolls Royce MC, forecasting of Covid-19 hospital admissions for the NHS, among others. Omar holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Durham University.
