Einar is Head of AI Capabilities for Markets & Securities Services at HSBC, where he sets strategy for and implements re-usable AI capabilities as well as ad-hoc solutions across the whole business. Some examples of topics we work on are natural language processing and automatic speech recognition for next-gen sales, and reinforcement learning for market making. Einar has a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Oxford, where he developed novel hybrid quantum devices for coupling superconducting qubits, surface acoustic waves and spin impurities.
